Influencer collaborations: how they transformed their spaces with Artificial Turf from JardinArtificial.es

influencers artificial turf

At JardinArtificial.es, we like to showcase real gardens from real people. Families with little ones who roll around on the floor, homes with pets, and terraces that need a touch of green without complicating life. That is why, in recent months, we have collaborated with several influencers from very different backgrounds: motherhood, decor, lifestyle, gastronomy… The common thread between them is simple: they wanted a beautiful, comfortable, and easy-to-maintain space. Here we share their projects, model by model, so you can get ideas and, if you feel like it, start your own.

Ruxanda Ghemis (@ruxandaghemis): softness and naturalness for a home with children

Where: Garden on soil (52 m²).

What she was looking for: A very soft Artificial Turf, with a “traditional” natural green look and that would heat up as little as possible in the sun. We sent her several options (New Madrid 33, Huelva 40, Navarra 37, and España 35 Artificial Turf) that stand out for their resilience, softness, and natural appearance.

Model chosen: Huelva 40 Artificial Turf. She chose it for its plush feel, extra stitching (which means more comfort and higher quality), and its ultra-natural blend of shades. Furthermore, this collaboration “introduced” the Huelva 40 model to the market.

Ideal for: Families who prioritize a soft step and a pleasant touch.

Esther López (@deco.estherhome): a stylish patio (and… resistant to children and pets!)

Where: Patio with a concrete surface (36 m²).

What she was looking for: To bring her patio garden to life with a turf that combines softness and resistance. Although she considered the Huelva 40, New Madrid 33, Asturias 45, and España 35 Artificial Turfs, we suggested Sevilla 33 as the perfect fit for her space and intended use.

Model chosen: Sevilla 33 Artificial Turf. Because its tones fit perfectly with Esther’s home decor, and for its pleasant touch while being resistant for daily life with children and animals. It also marked its market launch.

Ideal for: High-traffic patios where decorative tone and durability are very important.

Cristina Plaza (@crisstinaplaza): a penthouse where the little ones can play comfortably

Where: Penthouse with a concrete surface (≈80 m²).

What she was looking for: She had previously enjoyed 40 mm Artificial Turf in her penthouse; now she also needed it to be plush, with good resilience and drainage, so the little ones could lie down and play as much as they wanted. We recommended several options such as Cádiz 40, Navarra 37, Asturias 45, and Multinature 35 (multidirectional) turf.

Model chosen: Asturias 45 Artificial Turf, for that extra comfort she wanted. Cristina plans to add silica sand to refine the step and thermal performance.

Ideal for: Large surfaces where the plan is to lie down, read, and let babies/toddlers explore without risk of scrapes.

Gema Marín (@nutrifitgema): terrace with an Artificial Turf + vertical garden combination compatible with pets

Where: Terrace with a concrete surface (31 m²) and a wall for a vertical garden.

What they were looking for: A soft artificial grass with good recovery and an artificial vertical garden to add color to their space. Regarding the vertical garden, there was no doubt; she was in love with the Mérida model. Regarding the artificial grass, she asked about the Huelva 40 model, but to make cleaning easier (she has a pet at home), we suggested medium heights (30–35 mm): the España 35, Sevilla 33, New Madrid 33 models, and the New Murcia 20 model, the latter so she could compare heights.

Models chosen: Mérida Vertical Garden and España 35 Artificial Turf. She was delighted with the result.

Ideal for: Homes with pets that want aesthetics and simple maintenance.

Lorena Alacis (@decorandomeelalma): green mural with a “wave” effect to complete the patio decoration

Where: Wall of the same patio where she already installed our Canarias 40 model in 2023.

What she was looking for: To combine vertical gardens with light points to achieve a sense of movement. Our projects team helped her with the design and installation instructions.

Models chosen: Moss Garden vertical garden (8 panels 100×100) + Gijón artificial vertical garden (7 panels 100×100). She also considered the Barcelona model where the red color stands out, but she opted for the other two. Finally, she set up the design in a straight line.

Ideal for: Large walls that require texture, color, zero watering, and minimal maintenance.

Paloma Aprecida (@nacamacomapaloma): Our first collaboration in Portugal!

Where: Patio with a cement surface (54 m²).

What she was looking for: A very natural, light green turf with a height of around 40 mm, considering she has children who use the patio frequently. We sent her the Canarias 40 turf for its organic appearance.

Model chosen: Canarias 40 Artificial Turf. She was so happy with the result that we are already considering a second collaboration with artificial plants, vertical gardens, and lighting.

Ideal for: Family patios looking for a very realistic and natural Mediterranean look.

Practical mini-guide to choosing the Artificial Turf that best suits your own projects

  1. Think about the use: children, babies, pets, swimming pools, or do you prioritize only the decorative aspect?
  2. Choose height and density: more height for a plush step; medium heights if cleaning is key.
  3. Look at the color in sun and shade: the blend of tones provides naturalness.
  4. Consider accessories: silica sand in very sunny or high-traffic areas.
  5. If in doubt, request samples and advice. We guide you just like we do with every creator, adjusting the model to your space.

Frequently asked questions about choosing Artificial Turf

What height of Artificial Turf should I choose if I have dogs or children?

For heavy use and quick cleaning, medium heights of 30–35 mm usually work great. If you are looking for a very plush step for lying down, go up to 40–45 mm. Get inspired by our Artificial Turf models.

Does Artificial Turf heat up in the sun?

Like any surface, it does a bit. Silica sand, light watering during the hottest hours, and choosing natural tones help quite a bit.

How does it drain on terraces and penthouses?

With a leveled base and a functioning drain, water evacuates normally.

What about daily maintenance?

Occasional brushing (against the grain), rinsing with water and, if necessary, neutral soap.

Can I install it myself or do I need an installer?

You can do it yourself by following a step-by-step guide, like the ones we have on our blog, for soil and pavement. If you prefer, we can put you in touch with trusted installers.
