How to design an artificial vertical garden in 5 steps

  1. Choose the type of plants with which you want to decorate your garden, it can be hanging plants or a variety of beautiful succulents, you can also choose a simple foliage for outdoors. Assign the place and take measurements of the space you are going to allocate for the garden.
  2. You will need an internal frame that you can even recycle, paint it and cut it to the size you have designated. You can also eliminate the internal frame and just paint the wall green so that the spaces between the foliage are not visible. You can also use slats that will be the outer frame and should be strong and resistant, if you want to give it a more original touch, especially in interior spaces. If you decide to use them, you can reinforce the corners with metal brackets to secure them, since it is not enough just to glue them.
  3. Place the foliage module of the vertical garden you have chosen and mark with a pencil the suggested points to fix it to the wall, drill and place the dowel in all the points to later place the foliage and screw it to the wall or to the internal frame you have designated.
  4. Cut the excess or what you consider to be excess with tweezers or scissors so that you can adjust it to the area of measurement you assigned or to give shape and design to the garden according to the type of base and the space where you want to fix it.
  5. Comb the foliage so that it covers the white spots in the background and hides the joints, as well as to obtain a more natural look.
