It is very important to <strong>clear<\/strong> the ground and <strong>eliminate weeds<\/strong>. To do this, remove stones and any debris that may be on the surface of the ground. Next, weed the entire area to make sure it is clean. This is essential for a good result.    <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-paso-2&#xBA;-rociar-con-herbicida\">Step 2: <strong>Spraying with herbicide<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p>Spray <strong>herbicide all over the ground<\/strong> and you will prevent weeds from growing back. This will not lift or damage the backing of the artificial turf you have installed. <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-paso-3&#xBA;-nivelar-el-terreno-con-arena-o-grava\">Step 3: <strong>Level the ground with sand or gravel<\/strong>.<\/h4>\n\n<p>It is crucial to <strong>level the ground to<\/strong> avoid bumps and unevenness. Use a shovel and rake to smooth the soil. If the terrain has <strong>slopes<\/strong>, try to smooth them as much as possible.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Spread a <strong>layer of gravel<\/strong> about 5-10 cm thick <strong>over the soil<\/strong>. This will help to improve drainage and maintain the stability of the lawn. Subsequently, also add <strong>sand<\/strong> to give it more consistency.  <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-paso-4&#xBA;-compacta-la-tierra\">Step 4: <strong>Compact the soil<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p>Water the surface with water and make sure to <strong>compact the soil well<\/strong> with a <strong>roller<\/strong> so that no holes or irregularities are formed on the surface, thus achieving<strong> a solid base<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-paso-5&#xBA;-colocacion-de-malla-anti-hierbas\">Step 5: <strong>Placement of anti-weed netting<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p>Cover the entire ground with <strong>weed netting<\/strong>. Fix it with <strong>nails <\/strong>all around the perimeter. We advise you to leave a distance of one meter between nails. Be careful to overlap the ends of the mesh that touch each other by about 10 centimeters. Then <strong>cut the excess mesh <\/strong>by adjusting it to the edges of the ground surface with a <strong>cutter<\/strong>.    <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-paso-6&#xBA;-desenrollar-y-extender-el-cesped-artificial\">Step 6: <strong>Unroll and Spread Artificial Turf<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p><strong>Unroll the artificial turf<\/strong> and lay it <strong>on the<\/strong> prepared <strong>surface<\/strong> leaving a gap of half a centimeter between pieces. Make sure that all the pieces are well aligned and tight, with the <strong>artificial turf fibers<\/strong> in the <strong>same direction<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Trim the edges<\/strong> with a <strong>cutter<\/strong> and go around the obstacles.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-paso-7&#xBA;-unir-las-piezas\">Step 7: <strong>Join the pieces<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p>You can do this in several ways:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>With a joining band<\/strong>:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Fold the adjoining ends of the artificial turf in opposite directions to expose the weed netting. Place the <strong>joint tape<\/strong> under the joints. Compose the <strong>bicomponent kit<\/strong> and spread it in the <strong>center of the strip<\/strong> with a flat, as shown in the video. Finally, <strong>press the end<\/strong> of each piece of <strong>artificial turf<\/strong> <strong>on the joint band<\/strong> to secure it.   <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>With a self-adhesive band<\/strong>:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>As in the previous case, fold the adjoining ends of the artificial turf in opposite directions so that the weed netting is visible. But now, place the <strong>self-adhesive strip under the joints<\/strong>. Remove the paper from the adhesive and <strong>press<\/strong> each end of the artificial turf onto it, first one side and then the other. <strong>The joint should not be noticeable. <\/strong>   <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-paso-8&#xBA;-esparcir-arena-de-silice\">Step 8: <strong>Spreading silica sand<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p>Spread a layer of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jardinartificial.es\/en\/what-is-silica-sand-used-for\/\"><strong>silica sand on the lawn<\/strong><\/a> (43 kg per square meter depending on the height of the lawn) and <strong>brush it away from the fibers<\/strong>, so that it settles between them.
